Epoxy Flake

Epoxy flake flooring is a unique flooring system that involves applying a base coat of epoxy resin to the floor and then scattering decorative flakes onto the wet surface. The flakes come in a variety of colors and sizes, allowing for endless design possibilities. Once the flakes are applied, a top coat of clear epoxy or polyurethane is added to seal and protect the floor, creating a smooth and seamless finish.

Solid Color

Solid color epoxy floors offer a sleek and smooth look and feel, and you still have a great selection of colors. Solid colors are popular in warehouses, clean rooms and garages. If the goal is to maintain a consistent and uniform appearance throughout a space, solid color epoxy is a better choice than metallic or flake.

Metallic Epoxy

Metallic epoxy is a form of solid epoxy that is infused with glimmering, metallic particles. When expertly blended and applied, it gives the illusion of three-dimensional, shimmering swirls that gracefully traverse the flooring. Plus, it adds a reflective quality for a truly unique look.

What to Expect
From Start to Finish

At Swayd Epoxy Floors, we are transparent about our process so you know what to expect.

1.

Get an Estimate

During your estimate, we’ll check dimensions, concrete hardness and moisture levels to ensure we have the right products for the job. We’ll also review finish options with you.

2.

Prepare the surface

We clean the concrete to remove dirt, dust & grease. Then we repair any cracks or imperfections and may diamond grind the surface to ensure proper adhesion.

3.

Prime and coat

We may apply a concrete primer to enhance adhesion and prevent air bubbles. We then mix the epoxy resin and hardener and apply evenly to the surface.

4.

Cure and seal

Once the epoxy cures, we repair any imperfections and apply a sealer to enhance durability and provide UV protection. Once the sealer is cured, you are good to go!
