While both polished concrete and epoxy flooring offer durability and low maintenance, they differ in appearance and customization. Polished concrete retains the natural look of concrete, whereas epoxy flooring can be customized with various colors and patterns.
When doing a polished concrete job, we’ll start with surface preparation and grinding to level out the surface. We transition to resin-bonded diamond polishing pads and continue polishing the concrete surface. This polishing process gradually refines the concrete’s surface, bringing out its natural luster. We then apply a concrete densifier, which helps harden the surface and enhances its resistance to staining and wear.
We continue polishing the concrete with the highest grit polishing pads to achieve the desired level of shine. This step can involve multiple passes to achieve the desired finish.

Get an Estimate
During your estimate, we’ll check dimensions, concrete hardness and moisture levels to ensure we have the right products for the job. We’ll also review finish options with you.
Prepare the surface
We clean the concrete to remove dirt, dust & grease. Then we repair any cracks or imperfections and may diamond grind the surface to ensure proper adhesion.
Prime and coat
We may apply a concrete primer to enhance adhesion and prevent air bubbles. We then mix the epoxy resin and hardener and apply evenly to the surface.
Cure and seal
Once the epoxy cures, we repair any imperfections and apply a sealer to enhance durability and provide UV protection. Once the sealer is cured, you are good to go!
